Short
After leveling up from their encounter with the wizard Tharros the Wanderer, the party distributed their magical treasures—Barlo attuned to an animated shield while another companion claimed a constitution-enhancing amulet—and continued their journey through the Feywild toward a forest where a hag might help resolve the planar issues plaguing Skola Vale. As they approached the dense forest, they encountered nervous Almiraj (horned rabbits) who warned of the hag's presence before fleeing in terror as two massive Fomorians—eighteen-foot-tall, grotesquely deformed giants—burst from the treeline. One giant immediately killed and began devouring an Almiraj, triggering a desperate battle in which the Fomorians' cursed evil eyes inflicted horrific deformities on both Barlo and Shadow, with Shadow being struck down in a single devastating blow before Sas's healing magic revived her.
The party fought back fiercely, with Calliope's commanding magic forcing one giant prone, Bastion entering a bladesinger's trance to deliver precise strikes, and Artie the owlbear tearing viciously at the creatures. Bastion killed the first Fomorian by slicing it open from belly to chest, and Shadow's flame tongue sword beheaded the second as it attempted to flee. After harvesting valuable components from the corpses—including the giants' yellow eyes and pustule pus—the party rested in Calliope's magical dome, where grateful Almiraj left them a gemstone as thanks. By morning, the Fomorian curse lifted from Barlo and Shadow, their deformities healing completely, and the relieved Tabaxi celebrated their recovery by sprinting joyful circles around their companions before the party prepared to continue toward the hag's dwelling.
Summary
After leveling up from their encounter with the wizard Tharros the Wanderer and his doppelganger test, the party took time to distribute their newly acquired magical treasures. Barlo attuned to an animated shield that would hover protectively around him, allowing him to wield his weapons with both hands. Another companion claimed an amulet that dramatically enhanced their constitution, granting them newfound vitality. They also sorted through their collection of fireworks—dwarven bottle rockets, goblin fire trackers, flying dragons, and warrior candles—that they had purchased for future use.
The party continued their journey through the Feywild toward a forest rumored to house a hag who might help resolve the planar issues plaguing Skola Vale. Shadow expertly tracked their path using the sun's unchanging position in the strange realm, guiding them as the tall grasses gradually descended to ankle height. They approached the edge of a dense forest where a high canopy blocked much of the sunlight, creating an ominous dimness that matched the descriptions they had heard of the hag's dwelling.
As they neared the forest trail, Bastion and Shadow spotted several unusual rabbits emerging from the grass—large creatures with distinctive spiral horns protruding from their foreheads. Calliope recognized them as Almiraj and used her magic to speak with the timid beasts. The rabbits nervously mentioned seeing something matching the hag's description near a house deep in the forest, but their warning was cut short as they frantically spoke of things pursuing them.
Suddenly, two massive, hideously deformed giants burst from the treeline. These Fomorians stood nearly eighteen feet tall, their purple-gray skin covered in grotesque warts and their heads misshapen with one eye significantly larger than the other. One of the creatures lunged forward, snatching an Almiraj in its massive hands, snapping the rabbit's neck with a sickening crack before beginning to devour it. Shadow immediately drew her swords and shouted a warning as the remaining Almiraj scattered in terror.
The battle erupted with Shadow striking first, her flame tongue sword blazing as she cut into the Fomorian's tough hide. Barlo charged forward in a rage, his face transforming into a draconic visage, though his initial strikes failed to connect. Calliope hurled devastating insults that caused one Fomorian to wince in psychic pain and drop its meal, while Sas summoned a swarm of parasitic mites that covered another giant, forcing it to stumble erratically. Bastion marked one of the creatures with a curse and pelted it with frigid beams, while Artie the owlbear savagely tore into their flesh with beak and claw.
The Fomorians retaliated with terrifying force. One struck Barlo with its massive club, and its oversized eye glowed with malevolent yellow light. Though Barlo's magical cowl absorbed the worst of the psychic assault, he began developing grotesque deformities—patches of fur fell away, pimples erupted across his skin, and his movements became sluggish and awkward. The second Fomorian turned its attention to Shadow, and with a devastating swing of its club, it struck her down in a single catastrophic blow. As she collapsed, the creature's evil eye burned into her, causing her skin to boil and peel as the curse took hold.
The party fought desperately to turn the tide. Calliope commanded one Fomorian to sit, forcing it prone and vulnerable, while Sas rushed to Shadow's side and spoke words of healing that brought her back from the brink of death. Bastion entered a bladesinger's trance, his movements becoming a deadly dance as he combined precise rapier thrusts with freezing magical beams. Shadow rose with fury, conjuring a healing spirit and striking back with her flaming blade. Artie attempted to claw out the prone Fomorian's eye but instead tore its nose clean off, leaving a skeletal cavity in its place.
Bastion delivered the killing blow to the first giant, his rapier slicing it open from belly to chest as its body collapsed in two pieces. The remaining Fomorian, wounded and desperate, attempted to flee after struggling to its feet. As it ran, Bastion, Shadow, and Artie all struck at the retreating creature. Shadow's flame tongue found its mark one final time, the magical fire searing through the Fomorian's neck and separating its head from its body in a burst of flame and charred flesh.
After the battle, Calliope shared her knowledge of the Fomorians—a cursed race that had once been beautiful but now dwelt in darkness with ruined bodies and evil minds. The party carefully harvested valuable components from the corpses: the large yellow eyes that might serve alchemical purposes, and the thick pus from their pustules that could be used in various concoctions. They also claimed the spiral horn from the dead Almiraj, recognizing its potential value.
Sas found a suitable clearing where Calliope conjured a magical dome for them to rest safely. The party established watches throughout the night, and during Sas's shift, several Almiraj cautiously approached the shelter. The grateful rabbits pushed a small, rough gemstone toward the dome before darting back into the woods—a gift of thanks for saving them from the giants. When morning came, both Barlo and Shadow felt the Fomorian curse lifting from their bodies. Their deformities receded, their fur and skin healed, and their natural grace returned. Overcome with relief and joy, the two Tabaxi sprinted circles around their companions at full speed, celebrating their recovery with what could only be described as the midnight zoomies before the party prepared to continue their journey toward the hag's dwelling.

NEED THIS!!!
Classic
Last we left off, our intrepid adventurers found themselves deep within the strange and timeless realm of the Feywild, seeking a hag who might hold the key to resolving the planar disturbances plaguing Skola Vale. After distributing their hard-won magical treasures—including an animated shield for Barlo and a constitution-enhancing amulet for another companion—the party pressed onward through the ever-shifting landscape. Shadow guided them expertly using the unchanging sun, leading them from tall grasses to the edge of a dark, foreboding forest where the hag was rumored to dwell.
Their approach was interrupted by a chance encounter with several Almiraj—horned rabbits who nervously warned of danger before their words were cut short by terror. Two massive Fomorians, eighteen-foot-tall giants cursed with grotesque deformities and malevolent power, burst from the treeline. One snatched an Almiraj and devoured it before the party's eyes, igniting a desperate battle. The giants' evil eyes unleashed terrible curses upon Barlo and Shadow, causing their bodies to warp and boil with hideous afflictions. Shadow was struck down in a single devastating blow, her skin peeling as the curse took hold, while Barlo's fur fell away in patches as grotesque pimples erupted across his flesh.
Through teamwork and determination, the party prevailed. Calliope's commanding magic forced one giant prone, Sas's healing brought Shadow back from death's door, and Bastion's bladesong wove steel and sorcery into a deadly dance. After Bastion split the first Fomorian in two and Shadow's flame tongue separated the second's head from its body in a burst of fire, the party harvested valuable components and received a grateful gift from the surviving Almiraj. Now, after a night's rest that saw the terrible curses lift from their Tabaxi companions—who celebrated their recovery with jubilant midnight zoomies—the party prepares to venture deeper into the forest toward the hag's dwelling, their resolve tested but unbroken...
Middle English
Harken well, ye gentle folke,
Of heroes brave and true,
Who ventured through the Feywild strange,
Where grasses tall once grew.
With treasures claimed from Tharros the Wanderer' test,
A shield that floats in ayre,
They sought the hag through forest darke,
To mend the planar tear.
But lo! From treeline burst forth beasts,
Foul giants, cursed and fell,
Fomorians with eye most large,
Who wrought a horrid spell.
Brave Shadow fell to club most fierce,
And Barlo's form grew twisted,
Yet Calliope's words did smite,
And Sas with magick assisted.
With Bastion's blade and Artie's claw,
The giants met their doom,
And when the curse did lift at dawn,
The Tabaxi had their zoom!
Snarky
Our intrepid adventurers ventured into the Feywild to find a hag who could fix their planar problems, and naturally their journey involved getting absolutely demolished by eighteen-foot-tall cursed giants with body horror issues. The party stopped to chat with some adorable horned rabbits, which was sweet until two Fomorians burst out of the forest and one immediately snapped a bunny's neck like it was opening a particularly crunchy snack—really setting the tone for "this is going to go badly." Shadow got hit so hard she literally died in one shot, while Barlo got zapped by an evil eye beam that gave him magical acne and patchy fur, because apparently getting clubbed by a giant wasn't humiliating enough.
Through a combination of Calliope forcing a giant to sit like a misbehaving dog, Sas covering another in magical mites, and Bastion entering his bladesinger "I'm the main character now" mode, the party managed to slice one Fomorian in half and decapitate the other with a flaming sword. The surviving Almiraj were so grateful that the party saved them (after one of their friends got eaten in front of them) that they gave the adventurers a gemstone, which honestly feels like pretty good payment for the therapy bills these rabbits are going to need. Barlo and Shadow's curse wore off overnight, and they celebrated their recovery by doing zoomies around camp at full Tabaxi speed, proving that even after nearly dying to giant cyclops monsters, cats gonna cat.
Limerick
They leveled up, treasures to share,
With shield and amulet rare.
Through Feywild they'd roam,
To find the hag's home,
While fireworks they packed with great care.
The rabbits with horns gave a warning,
Of giants who came without mourning.
Two Fomorians tall,
Made one Almiraj fall,
And battle erupted that morning.
The giants cursed Shadow and Barlo,
With eyes glowing yellow and hollow.
Their skin boiled and peeled,
As the party revealed,
That victory they'd soon follow.
With rapier and flame they fought back,
Through Bastion and Shadow's attack.
Artie tore off a nose,
And dealt finishing blows,
Till both giants lay dead on the track.
The Almiraj brought gems in the night,
As the curse lifted come morning light.
The Tabaxi ran free,
With zoomies of glee,
Then onward they marched toward their plight.
